Wedding at Burr Homestead, Fairfield CT & Wesley United Methodist Church, Franklin Square NYValerie and Stephen were married on April 13th 2013. The morning started at Valerie's apartment in Brooklyn, NY where she prepared herself for this amazing day with her family and friends. Their joyful ceremony was at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Franklin Square NY. It was a family affair with Stephen's father and Valerie's grandfather playing a part in the service. The bride and groom even got up and sang a few songs together. After the ceremony, they had an adorable cake party before heading off to their reception at Burr Homestead in Fairfield CT. The night ended with a sparkler send-off and Japanese lanterns. It got pretty suspenseful when a few of the lanterns ended up in the huge old trees, but the trees were wet from days of rain, and the lanterns quickly went out. The day was warm and fun from start to finish. Valerie and Steve are all around great people, and I wish them all the best as they walk through life together.
